Notes
The Japanese Garden with War Ships Series, made in Tacoma in 2008, caused much uproar when it was released to the city as such. As the Japanese Gardens were the Chinese Gardens. And the War Ships in the backgrounds had nothing to do with war.
This series, an exercise, exemplifies the varying degrees of expressive focus, while exploring compositional re-balances in accordance.
