Blue is a common background for many of the artist's photographic abstracts. With Nature as painter providing the initial ground, The Blue Series shows consciousness of the fact and provides a cohesion of 3 found scenes within minutes apart on a sunny early summer day on the northern Croatian Adriatic coast. The series is a trilogy of master abstract photography works both far reaching and intimate. In contrast to the Blue Tree, it is worth considering the artist's earlier work with a wholly different ground called, The Red Tree. The White Fence referred to in ..with Photographer, is historically important as perhaps the artist's first truly fully out of focus color photography composition.
