Leaning toward exploration of more traditional photographic themes, albeit in an abstract style, led to Path to Veprinac, 2 Women and Dog in 2007. Color is still a concern but the artist's rigorous stylization has loosened for a more naturalistic abstraction in this, the first of a sub-theme of new pictorialist portraiture to come.
