2003 found the artist in Zagreb, Croatia, marking a year in the country. In this picture a still American perspective on the ground of a new home half the world away is evident. The image was made with a plastic disposable wide angle viewed camera the artist was borrowing. It is one of very few remaining documentary snapshots from this time.
